Rasmus Hanell
Rasmus Hanell was born to be an entertainer; he is the ringmaster who can capture and spellbind
even the toughest of crowds with his natural charisma. While growing up in Örsundsbro he discovered
the world of circus and fire at the young age of 17, and he has been the steadfast leader of Circus
Ignis ever since founding the group in 2015. Due to his great experience in the art of fire he is
familiar with many different tools and today the Rat, as he is often called, is a skilled performer in
the disciplines of staff, fire eating and fire breathing.

Johan Hellstrand
Johan Hellstrand has the true soul of an artist. Playing and creating music comes as naturally to him as
breathing, and it permeates everything he does on stage. Watching him perform with his poi is like bearing
witness to a perilous dance with man, fire and music in beautiful symbiosis. His performing arts have taken
him from the dark depths of Sala silver mine to the stairs outside of Sweden’s embassy in Washington D.C.
As a jester he answers to the name the Otter.

Isabella Laine
Isabella Laine is the group’s newest member who during her first three years in the business has made a name for
herself in record time. With her burning and glowing hula hoops she has participated in the TV show Vem Kan Vad?
on Swedish national television, been on stage at Katalin And All That Jazz in central Uppsala and entertained
people visiting Halloween at Liseberg two years in a row. Her burning passion for circus motivates her to reach
ever higher – sometimes quite literally – and being small but tough she lives up to her jester name the Wolverine.

Jim Widenroth
Jim Widenroth is as cunning as his nickname, the Fox, implies. If the Otter is the group’s artist, the Fox
is its engineer. With his talent for puzzles and mechanics he has constructed a unique fire tool which never
fails to make the audience gasp. On stage he can also be seen performing entertaining tricks with a whip,
spinning staff in breakneck speed and breathe fire.

Elina Linus Thorén
Elina Linus Thorén is the glue holding the ill-fitting puzzle pieces of Circus Ignis together;
the co-pilot who flies around the storm when the captain would like to admire the storm clouds up close;
the manager who brokers peace when the band members are fighting and wish to release solo albums.
There are plenty of metaphors, but all joking aside, Elina Linus Thorén is the group’s unofficial manager
and official seamstress. She has among other things sewn horse blankets worthy of a knight, as well as the
unique jester clothes the group performs in during medieval events. As the one pulling the strings as well as
sowing with them, she has the perfect nickname: the Spider.
